Community Cares

What is it?

Community Cares is a program funded by our staff and community to assist members with unexpected financial burdens of basic needs. Basic needs are the essential material requirements to support wellbeing, including (but not limited to) adequate food, shelter, clothing, hygiene and medical, psychological, optical, and dental care.

If you know someone or are someone who may benefit from the Community Cares program, please submit the online request, along with necessary documentation.

Qualifications/Eligibility:  

  • Must be a member or local community member
  • Members are eligible to receive the grant every 12 months (twice in a lifetime)
  • Limit to one grant per residence
  • The maximum grant amount is $250
  • Must be able to show proof of bill

How to Contribute:

If you would like to contribute to Community Cares, funds can be deposited via our Venmo Account. Further donation options are available at any of our branch locations.

Process:

Applications are reviewed weekly every Monday (with the exception of a federal holiday falling or observing on a Monday). Application decision will be communicated via the applicants requested form of communication within 24 hours of the following Monday.

    All Branches CLOSED: Tuesday, December 10 (All Staff Training). 24 hr ATM and Online/Mobile Banking services will still be available. We will be open normal business hours on Wednesday, December 11.
