The Young Professionals Group at Community First Federal Credit Union is hosting its 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Brookside Golf Course on Saturday, August 17th, 2024. This fun-filled event will feature an 18-hole scramble, lunch, prizes, and more!

Last year’s tournament was a success! With the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and contributors, we were able to raise over $7,000. These funds were donated to Community Cares. Community Cares is a grant funded by our staff and community members to assist members with unexpected financial burdens of basic needs. In 2023, we were able to disburse $29,143 to 116 members. We had the opportunity to use the remaining funds for education and improving and expanding our six-week high school senior personal finance course. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

What is the Young Professionals Group? We are a group of driven local young professionals who are passionate about credit union advocacy, professional development, volunteering, and education. Our goals are to actively participate in our community and to give back to those in our service area.

This year’s 2024 Annual Golf Outing event will continue to raise money to help sustain Community Cares and our financial educational outreach to local high schools.

We look forward to an even more successful tournament this August and to continue to make a positive impact in our communities.
